Active Repeater for 914 MHz Digital Wireless Network
Selectively Repeats Techkor Wireless Products
Encrypted Retransmission
-20º to 70º C Operation
Solid State, No Moving Parts
Description
The solid-state 7032 repeater is used when
wireless sensors are out of range of access points. This can occur if a
sensor is greater than 250 feet from the network access point or if some
object is shielding the RF signal. Techkor wireless sensors and access
points will use repeaters when necessary. No additional setup is required.
Simply placing a repeater in the wireless network will allow the devices to
have access to it.
The 7032 is an extremely reliable wireless
device. The repeater will only receive and repeat packets to and from Techkor wireless sensors. Handshaking, packet framing, collision avoidance,
packet encoding, and error checking are all performed automatically. For
maximum confidence, the 7032 performs periodic self-test diagnosis of
power fluctuations, low battery, or harmful internal temperatures. Should
operating parameters be exceeded, the unit will either alert the operator
wirelessly or self-initiate a system reset.
