Application Software
Host Controller
The host controller, located on a Windows enterprise server or Windows PC,
operates as a background application that communicates between the wireless
sensor network and a common database. The information collected by the
Maintenance Watchdog™ system is stored in an ODBC compliant
database: Microsoft Access™, Microsoft SQL, Paradox™ or Oracle.
Client Application
A database client application is provided to allow operators to manage the
wireless sensor network. The software allows setting collection
specifications, scheduling collection times, post processing, and displaying
vibration data. Every sensor can be programmed to display or export data in
a different form with allowable data forms of Vibration FFT, Velocity FFT,
Peak Value, RMS Value, Vibration Time Trace, Velocity Time Trace, and
Displacement Time Trace. Sensor data can be exported to third party software
anywhere in the world manually or automatically. The client application
also provides notification for low batteries, overdue readings, and
dangerous product temperatures.
